Understanding the Award Pool
The Award Pool is the total amount of money available to be distributed as awards.
Pool Types
Fixed Pool — A set dollar amount (e.g., $50,000/month)
Percentage Pool — Based on company metrics (e.g., 10% of profit)
Individual Pool — Each person has their own calculation
Team Pool — Shared among team members
How the Pool Is Divided
The pool is split among eligible employees based on distribution rules.
Example: A $30,000 monthly pool with 10 eligible employees, distributed based on performance scores. The top performer might get $5,000, others proportionally less.
