Understanding Thresholds

Thresholds are company-wide performance targets that may need to be met before individual awards are distributed.

How Thresholds Work

Thresholds are set at the company or plan level and must be achieved for the award pool to be available. They're displayed with a progress indicator showing current status.

Common Threshold Examples

  • Revenue threshold — Company must hit $X in revenue

  • Profitability threshold — Company must maintain X% margin

  • Customer satisfaction — Company-wide score must exceed X

What Happens If Thresholds Aren't Met

The award pool may be reduced or not distributed. Individual performance doesn't matter if company targets are missed. You'll see this reflected in your award status.

Where to Check

Go to your plan's Plan Summary tab to see the current threshold status and progress.

Team Goals

Some plans display "Team Goals" which are similar thresholds that apply at a team level rather than company-wide.
