When to Clear a Distribution
You might want to clear a distribution when:
Incorrect data — Awards were calculated with wrong values and need to be redone
Starting fresh — You want employees to only see new results, not previous ones
Recalculating — You need to re-run the distribution process for a period
⚠️ Note: Only distributions that have been approved or rejected can be cleared. Pending distributions cannot be cleared.
Clearing a Distribution
From the dashboard, click Home in the left sidebar
Click on the plan you want to manage
Click the Actions button
Select Clear Data
Select the period(s) you want to clear
Click Confirm
You'll see a confirmation message showing how many distributions were reset.
Selecting Periods
The Clear Data modal shows all periods that can be cleared. You can:
Select individual periods — Check specific periods you want to clear
Select All — Clear all available periods at once
Periods are grouped by your plan's frequency:
Weekly — Grouped by quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4)
Monthly — Shown as a grid of 12 months
Quarterly — Q1 through Q4
Bi-Annually — H1 and H2
Annually — Full year
What Gets Cleared
When you clear a distribution, the following data is removed:
Award calculations for that period
Review and approval data
Any results employees may have already seen
The distribution returns to a clean state, ready for new data.
⚠️ Warning: Employee Visibility
If employees already have visibility to the plan, they may have seen previous results. A warning will appear in the modal to remind you of this before you confirm.
