Manually Syncing Metrics

Syncing pulls the latest data from your connected integrations (like ServiceTitan) into ShareWillow. This updates metric values for your compensation plans.

How to Manually Sync Metrics from Your Integration

This guide explains how to pull metric data from your connected integration into ShareWillow.


Before You Begin

To sync metrics, you need an active integration connected. ShareWillow supports:

  • ServiceTitan

  • Housecall Pro

  • Service Fusion


Syncing a Metric

  1. From the dashboard, click Metrics in the left sidebar

  2. Click on the metric you want to sync

  3. Click the Sync Data button

  4. Select the time periods you want to sync (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.)

  5. Click Sync

You'll see a confirmation message: "Metric sync started"


Sync Status

Each metric shows its current sync status:

  • 🟒 Synced β€” Data is up to date

  • 🟑 Pending Sync β€” Sync is queued

  • πŸ”΅ Syncing β€” Sync is in progress

  • πŸ”΄ Sync Error β€” Something went wrong

You can also see when the metric was last synced.


Rate Limiting

To prevent overloading the system, there's a 2-minute cooldown between syncs for each metric. If you try to sync again too soon, you'll see an alert asking you to wait.


Selecting Time Periods

When you click Sync Data, you'll see a list of available time periods based on your metric's configuration:

  • Weekly β€” Select specific weeks by date range

  • Monthly β€” Select specific months

  • Quarterly β€” Select Q1, Q2, Q3, or Q4

You can select multiple periods at once. The button will show how many periods you're syncing (e.g., "Sync 3 period(s)").
