Connect to ServiceTitan

This guide walks you through connecting your ServiceTitan account to ShareWillow and importing your employees.

Before You Begin

You'll need the following information from your ServiceTitan account:

- Tenant ID

- Client ID

- Client Secret

Don't worry if you don't have these yet — we'll show you exactly where to find them.

Step 1: Find Your Tenant ID in ServiceTitan

1. Log in to your ServiceTitan account

2. Click on Settings (gear icon) in the bottom-left corner

3. Navigate to IntegrationsAPI Application Access

4. Your Tenant ID is displayed at the top of this page

Copy this number — you'll need it in the next step.

Step 2: Enter Your Tenant ID in ShareWillow

1. On the ShareWillow onboarding page, click Connect ServiceTitan

2. Enter your Tenant ID in the field provided

3. Click Submit

After submitting, our support team will verify your tenant ID. This typically takes a few minutes during business hours. You'll see a "Waiting for

verification" message — you can leave this page open or come back later.

Step 3: Get Your API Credentials from ServiceTitan

Once our team has verified your Tenant ID, you'll be prompted to enter your API credentials.

To find them in ServiceTitan:

1. Go to SettingsIntegrationsAPI Application Access

2. Click Connect New App

3. Select "ShareWillow API Connector" and press "Connect".

4. Then, select "Allow Access".

5. Now that you have connected the ShareWillow API app, you can get your Client Id and Client Secret by pressing "Edit".

6. Then, you can copy Client Id and generate a Client Secret.

Important: The Client Secret is only shown once when created. If you don't have it, you may need to generate new credentials.

Step 4: Enter Your API Credentials

Once your Tenant ID is verified:

1. You'll see fields for Client ID and Client Secret

2. Enter both credentials

3. Click Connect

ShareWillow will now sync with your ServiceTitan account. This may take a few moments depending on your data volume.

Step 5: Select Employees to Import

After the sync completes, you'll see a list of employees and technicians from ServiceTitan:

1. Review the list of people synced from ServiceTitan

2. Select the employees you want to import into ShareWillow

3. Optionally, click the pencil icon on any employee to edit their details:

- Name

- Email

- Phone

- Department

- Role

- Hourly Rate

- State

4. Click Continue when you're done selecting

Step 6: Review and Complete

The final screen shows a summary of your import:

- Number of employees created

- Number of employees linked to existing records

- ServiceTitan mappings created

Click Complete to finish the setup.

Troubleshooting

"Waiting for tenant ID verification" taking too long?

Contact our support team at [email protected] to expedite verification.

Entered the wrong Tenant ID?

Click "Wrong tenant ID?" to restart the connection process.

Sync failed?

Double-check your Client ID and Client Secret are correct. If issues persist, contact support.

Missing employees in the list?

Only active employees/technicians are synced from ServiceTitan. Check that the people you're looking for are marked as active in ServiceTitan.
