Creating a plan

Add a new incentive plan using our plan builder

To add a new incentive plan, hit the "Create New Plan" button from your homepage.

Follow the steps in the plan builder.

  1. Enter Plan Name

  2. Choose Plan Year

  3. Choose Payout Frequency

Choose the type of plan you want to create.

  1. Team Performance Plan - Reward entire team based on results from the team.

  2. Individual Performance Plan - Reward individual employees for their results.

Select the employees to include in this plan.

  1. Select each employee

  2. Select by role

  3. Select by department

Set your thresholds that must be achieved in order for a payout to occur. This can be revenue, profit, margin, or a custom metric like # of billable hours.

Select the type of award for your employees.

  1. Award Pool - this can be % of salary, % of revenue, or another pool-based award

  2. Scorecard - create awards for individual KPIs like revenue, callbacks, labor efficiency, billing efficiency, reviews, etc.

For Scorecard plans:

Create your KPIs.

For Pool-Based Plans:

  1. Select the metric to calculate the size of the pool

  2. Select if the amount should be taken from entire pool or only an amount over a threshold

  3. Select a fixed percentage (i.e. 20% of revenue) or a tiered percentage (i.e. 20% of revenue from $0-$20k, 25% of revenue over $25k)

Set a qualifier

This is a metric that must be met for each technician in order to qualify for the payout. An example is billable hours. In the example below, each technician must have 100 billable hours in the period to qualify for a payout.

Review your plan and publish

Publish Plan

  1. Select date for plan to go live

  2. Share with employees - invite employees, make visible only (no employee invite emails), or keep hidden

  3. Publish plan
